Henry is 9 Months!!!!!

I cannot believe that Henry is already 9 months old! It seems like just yesterday that I was holding him in the hospital. It so crazy that the next time he has professional pictures taken, he will be a year old!!!! I guess I need to start thinking about his birthday party. Honestly, that makes me a little sad. I can't believe that he is growing up so fast.

Henry isn't crawling yet, but he's becoming content just scooting around on his belly. He does a lot better going backwards, but he will scoot around in circles to find new stuff to play with. He LOVES to pull himself up in his crib or anywhere else possible. I am starting to wonder if he will just walk and skip the crawling stage..... We will see! :)

My super talented friend Jessica took Henry's pictures over the weekend and they turned out AMAZING!!!! I love them! You can check out her website at www.herecomesthesunphotography.com. Glad it's Friday!!

I just wanted to write a quick update. Things are going pretty well with our little family. We are going to a wedding this weekend in Robinson, Illinois. I'm sure it will be good time. We are staying with Dustin's parents for the weekend, so Henry will get lots of Grandma time. I'm sure he will be super spoiled when we come home. :) I was surprised when I was packing our things last night.... It is so hard to pack for a baby!!!! We will only be gone for two nights, but I feel like we are taking our whole house with us. We probably will only use half of what we are taking, but it's necessary to be prepared. Haha!!

Henry has a little bit of a cough and I'm hoping that it goes away soon. I feel like he is sick every other week. We get things taken care of and he gets sick again. I'm sure it's because he's around so many kids at daycare. He loves going and playing with all the other kids, but I could definitely leave the various colds, coughs and little illnesses that come along with daycare. :(

Yesterday...

Hello everyone!! Hope all is well on this rainy Wednesday morning. Things here are going ok. Henry had to go to the doctor for his eczema yesterday. He had a pretty bad outbreak this time. He also has some seasonal allergies, so the doc gave us a boatload of stuff to get.... Zyrtec, steroid cream, triple paste, triple cream, etc.... We spent a small fortune at the pharmacy and used it last night. He woke up this morning and it's almost all gone!!!!! I was so happy!!! Made the expense totally worth it. Henry is going to get his 9 month pictures taken on June 20th and I really wanted to get the rash cleared up. This cream cocktail seems to be doing the trick. :) So, now we just have to stay on top of it.

Other than the rash things are going really well. Henry is up on those knees rocking back and forth so he will be crawling before long. He likes to pull himself up to his knees in his crib, so I'm sure it won't be long before he's pulling up on everything else. It's crazy how fast he's grown. It seems like it wasn't that long ago that he was born. He's picking EVERYTHING up and putting it in his mouth too.... I am so impressed with him when he feeds himself. It's so cute!

Claire and Sophia Sorrells

Here is a picture of the beautiful Sorrells twins. They arrived on Thursday and are happy and healthy. Courtney and Matt are so happy and it was nice to see them for a little while on Saturday. Congrats to Courtney and Matt! Their family just doubled in size.... :)
